I am a sucker for lip products. And if I can find one that lasts, it makes me a very happy camper. I was new to Klara Cosmetics when I first purchased the Kiss Proof Lips in #09. I saw them have a sale advertised on Twitter, and as soon as I saw these, I was sold. The Kiss Proof Lip Products claim to give 24 hours worth of matte lips in a variety of shades. #09 is a vibrant watermelon pink, and for me, leans on the warmer side. This is not a product you can wear with flaky lips as this will make any crack or flake stick out like a sore thumb. It is very matte and I also suggest taking care when applying, because it stains skin if left on too long. Sometimes the wand can get a little overloaded with product and make it difficult to get a precise application, so I will use a lip brush to outline the edges.
Apologies for the unannounced hiatus, life really took precedent in the last week and a bit. But I’m back to chat about a *very* well talked about product recently. The Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers are a pretty popular blogging topic at the moment, so I’m here to give a few thoughts and swatches after giving them a test run
When these were first released in the UK, I was green with envy and ridiculously impatient. So much so I was a little cheeky and bought a few shades off ASOS. But I was lucky enough to be able to try out the rest of the range too, yay for a lip colour rainbow! Also, my OCD senses tingled a little bit having them all to line up 😉
So, I have an affinity for buying bright lipsticks. They catch my eye and I can rarely say no. The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge lipstick in ‘Forever Fuchsia’ has been my most recent purchase and love.
It is the most amazing deep fuchsia colour, that on closer inspection, actually has a blue shimmer running through it. Although, you can’t actually see it when it’s on your lips. This is the perfect colour if you want to go for a rich shade, but don’t want to go quite into red territory.
