I accumulated a fair amount of empties towards the end of 2014, and I need to start documenting them more. I actually really enjoy doing this, because I can go back and remind myself of the things I need to repurchase 😛 So since I have a bit of a backlog, I’m splitting up my first empties post for this year into two parts. And today’s will be skincare and body products, and next will be hair and make up. And disclaimer, this is over a pretty decent period of time, I don’y chance my skincare up THAT much!
The aim of Maybelline’s Fit Me range is to create a natural finish, while still letting skin breathe. This range also gives everyone the ability to match the products in their whole foundation routine fairly easily. Today I’m going to share with you my most loved product from this range, the pressed powder.
I don’t seem to post enough ‘Face of the Day’ kind of posts. So I thought since I’ve been pretty absent in the last week, I’d share with you a pretty standard go-to look for me. I love bright lips of any kind so often my eyeshadow choices are quite neutral so I can get away with my bright lip choices. And today’s look features one of my favourite lip products!
Yep, lips are the same colour as my top. Not obsessed at all *cough*
When it comes to cleansers, I can find myself very picky, so I really like when I find one that ticks all my boxes.
I put the call out to Twitter to find a good cleanser for sensitive skin and Amy from Bottled Beauty recommended me this. It’s a gel formula, with a lavender/herbal like scent. I really liked it and it was almost relaxing in a way. It foams nicely but is in no way drying to the skin, nor did it break me out. I found this great to use with my Clarisonic or even just my hands. The bottle is shower friendly being easy to squeeze and a nice twist open lid. Being able to store it facing it down meant that I was able to get every last drop out! Which when you love it, you really. really want to do 😛
