Current Beauty Favourites (April 2014)

I always love reading people’s favourites posts, even if it is the biggest enabler to me buying new things. But I don’t ever feel like I change things up enough to warrant posting it monthly. So I have decided to do them when I think I have enough things I really love. So they may be monthly, they may be further apart! Anyway, lets get into some sweet favourites!

FavesApril14

Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose- I had avoided all the other flavours because I wasn’t too keen on them. I’m SO glad they brought this out, is smells so good I want to eat it out of the tin (but I don’t…maybe…). And the bonus being it is lovely and moisturising on my lips. It goes everywhere with me.

ORLY Bonder Base Coat- I have only used this a couple of time and I am sold. I can’t seem to have a manicure last because it peels off in sheets. But this is a game changer. This is the base coat to try if nothing else has worked for you.

Kerastase Powder Buff Dry Shampoo*- A high end dry shampoo option, but the scent and the fact that it leaves no white cast on darker hair, make this a staple for my non hair washing days.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer- I bought this as I have read many other blog posts professing love for this product, and I wasn’t disappointed. Great at covering up those pesky dark circles. I can even look past the gross sponge (it pulls off!) due to its awesomeness.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Amused- I bought this in a blog sale and it kind if got lost for a little while, but I decided to bring it out from hiding and it has been my go to blush as of recent times. It’s my kind of pink flush and it goes with just about anything.

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Demure- I know that the matte balms have been the big talking point of Revlon’s new releases (and it is because they rock!). However, this is the one I have been reaching for the most. I don’t like wearing a lot of makeup to work, so this gives me a little colour and a little shine.

So they are my current loves, I’d love to know yours!

xx

I bought the bonder base coat at Salon Melb, haven’t used it yet but the lady at Orly told me it’s amazing. I’m glad after reading your post that it’s good, I seem to buy a lot of random stuff these days on a whim.
