Review: Korres Foaming Cream Cleanser

Simple cleansers that do the job are exactly what I look for. There should be no fuss when I want to wash my face! I’m going to share one of my recent favourites.

Meet the Korres Foaming Cream Cleanser.

Korres Foaming Cream Cleanser

I purchased this after I had a horrible reaction to my last cleanser (read: BAAAAD breakouts). I walked into Kit Cosmetics and asked the lovely sales assistant for some help. “I need a cleanser that’s gentle and won’t make my skin dry, but will not cause breakouts, but I am prone to the odd hormonal breakout, so I want to to work on reducing them too.” You can see I’m not one for an easy request. Yet, the lovely girl took it in her stride and calmly handed me this. Prior to this, the only Korres product I had tried was their lip butter (delicious!), however I was happy to give this a go.

The smell is lovely and light (and possibly a little fruity!), and I really enjoyed it, as strongly scented cleansers is a big turn off for me. While I personally dislike a cleanser that doesn’t foam up, this came in at a happy medium. It won’t give me a Santa like beard to mould, but it foamed enough to my liking, and not so much that it would dry me out. No tight feeling after you’re done here! It was great at taking my face make up off, but I would still use something to remove any eye make up first (my current choice being Bioderma Crealine H20). I would put a small dollop on my cleaning pad and off I went. It really was the perfect addition to my routine and exactly what I needed at the time. Breakout wise, it didn’t cause any, and alongside a spot treatment, it was great for the occasional pop up.

Would I repurchase this? The answer is a resounding yes. Have I? No, only because in my mind I’m like ‘oooooh, what can I try now?!’ This is where I add #beautybloggerproblems, right? But don’t misinterpret my actions. This is a fantastic gentle cleanser for anyone that feels like their skin is dry and sensitive.

You can buy the Korres Foaming Cream Cleanser from Kit Cosmetics (I can’t find the price or link, I will update here when I do!). The sales assistants are so awesome in there, it’s totally worth the trip (particularly the Chadstone store!).

What’s your favourite cleanser of the moment? Can you ever stick to a product for more than one time?
