WELL. It’s nice to see you all back again, well, me more precisely. September has been a crazy busy month and the haul I’m about to show you is part of the reason why. Over the weekend of the 21st-22nd of September, IMATS was held in Sydney. I was so excited to go, not only to shop, but to see many of my friends again. But on to what today’s post is about: hauling. I ended up getting what I wanted plus a couple of things I wanted but didn’t realise would be there, bonus! I also made a couple of sneaky purchases during my weekend in Sydney I will share with you too.
Now, let’s get this straight. I am no connoisseur of nail art, in any way. Or form. It is only through plenty of practice that I am confident in painting my nails properly. And even that includes nifty tricks to clean it up. So I apologise in advance for the impending terror, but I will make it up to you by showing you work from and AMAZING nail artist. All about balance, right?
When I got given the chance to try out the normal version of Bio Sculpture’s Gel polishes, I was beyond excited. The fact that they offer the chance to use their colour range in an at home way is great, particularly with may of us being time poor, sometimes getting to the salon can be a bit of a challenge. They offer an amazing range of colours to choose from too, you will never be short of choice And the newest release spring colours are right on trend and right up my alley, pastels! And the extremely talented Tomoko Namba (Bio Sculpture Gel’s Master Nail Artist) certainly inspired me (and slightly intimidated me) with the most amazing nail art ever. Check a couple of them out here (click on the photo for a closer look):
Now, I will preface this post by saying I’m pretty lucky when it comes to breakouts. I have never really suffered from terrible acne. But when I get breakouts, I get them BAD. Bad in the sense that they are the big, painful and hurt like a mother the whole time they are on your face. No white head to pop. Just sitting there taunting you with redness and PAIN. So naturally, I am always on the hunt to find products that decrease the time I feel like I have a red mountain of pain on my face.
I was lucky enough to be offered to try these products right in the middle of a time where I had just discovered my current cleanser was causing me to break out. I had two breakouts on my chin and neck that made me want to cry. Literally (FYI I have a low threshold for pain, but don’t let that distract you from how much pain I felt). I welcomed them with open arms into my routine and here are my thoughts.
