Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair, Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn’t fuzzy was he?
That was the first thing that popped into my head when I first saw the name for these polishes. But aside from that, I have three of the colours from the range to show you today!
The Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat nail polishes were my first foray into textured polishes. I’m not usually a fan of textured look, but there is something different about these as opposed to liquid sands type polishes (and even the odd one of those will try and tempt the nail polish fiend in me). These are designed with long glitter like fibres to emulate hand spun yarn to give a textured 3D effect. But the thing I do like, is t gives the textured effect without giving much actual texture to the polish, no more than any glitter would. So with a decent top coat, you will have a smooth nail but you still get to enjoy the 3D effect!I can’t stand the bumpy feeling on my nails (cue shudder).
Last week could not have been more of a perfect week for this theme. Melbourne was channelling its inner Arctic, with wind, rain and freezing temperatures. So for week three’s challenge, I’m sharing with you some of my winter essentials. Also, since this is going up a little late, be on the lookout for this weeks theme, two for one!
We are on the back end of another month, and every time I read something happened *insert time period here* ago, I cant believe time is going so fast. So make sure you are all enjoying every minute! Here’s a few things that have been going on with me lately.
I’m now officially obsessed with Tupperware. A friend of mine is now a demonstrator and after having my own party, have awesome vouchers to spend. My food is almost as excited as I am! P.S. I now own a pink single cupcake carrier, don’t be jealous.
It was my sister’s 16th birthday this week. Seriously, where has the time gone?! She’s taller then me! *sobs* We haven’t had the easiest time lately but she’s mine and I wouldn’t change her for the world. Even if now she’s the one that get to call me shorty.
I am saddened to discover that the funniest video I saw this week was deleted. Thank you to Kimberley for filling my week with hilarity, even if I can no longer see it.
Well week 2 of the Antipodean Beauties Challenge is right up my alley. If you didn’t already know, glitter is my favourite colour. Instinctively I would usually choose glitter nail polish, but I had to cut all my nails short (insert tears here), so I was forced to try something else.
I tried something that I’m usually fairly scared of showing up close: my eyeliner. And I’m actually happy with how it turned out! So I’ve done a Face of the Day to show off a bit of glitter eyeliner.
I was almost going to combine July’s and August’s together, until I realised how much I used up. And to save you the effort of reading through one SUPER long post, you will get two normal length ones. And if your attention span is as short as mine, you’ll thank me!
Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Wash- Here again, in my shower again. A review is coming!
Garnier Mineral Invisi-Max Antiperspirant- Second time I’ve used this, smells really nice and works really well. Have found a new ‘current’ favourite though.
