Nude eyeshadow palettes are common place these days being a sure fire way to create a safe look that can easily be turned to night. However, the hard part is finding a palette that is consistently good quality throughout the shadows. But guys, this one does it.
New year, and a new Bellabox to play with! This month was all about loving Australia and Australian products. Read on to see what was inside.
You Me and Everybody Cool It Aloe Vera Gel- Perfect timing! Even with sunscreen, I came back from the beach a little bit pink, this was great to soothe my skin. Next time I’ll use a full bottle of sunscreen…
If you follow me on twitter, you are probably aware this wont be a glowing review to follow. I toyed with the idea of actually writing this post, and after little results of others appeared from a Google search and Make Up Alley and with the encouragement of fellow Twitter lovelies , I decided to go ahead. The other reason I’m writing about this, is because here in Australia, this brand is not cheap. I splashed out for this masque ($59 for 150mL) in the hopes that such a popular brand overall would exceed my high hopes.
I will preface this by saying I doubt this will stop me from trying other things from this brand (I liked a sample of Creme De Coco, and I have been wanting to try their hairspray for years), but I will be much more meticulous at choosing my products from them. Anyway, on to the review.
The last empties post for 2012! Eep! I didn’t use up as much this month, so this one will be sort and sweet.
Rexona ‘Sexy’ Anti Persperant Deodorant- Still great, but in the warmer weather, I have opted for a more heavy duty anti persperant for summer since using this up.
Apologies for the lack of posting, I was thoroughly enjoying my time off work after Christmas, and enjoying my new camera so much, I didn’t actually get any of the photos off my camera until now! Since my New years wasn’t all that exciting, the only make up related item I was wearing on NYE was nail polish, and what is no NYE mani complete without?! GLITTER!
Mine included a awesomely bright purple from Hello Darling called ‘Loveshack.’ And as much as I was tempted to make it all glitter, I decided on a gradent with Emily De Molly‘s ‘Warrior Princess.’ It is an AMAZEBALLS (yes, a completely appropriate word for this polish) purple/blue/magenta glitter in a purple base. The glitter dense enough to use by itself too. Drool worthy. Almost like a fireworks display on my nails.
What did your nails wear this NYE?
