What’s in my travel make up bag??

As you may know, I recent had a little two day getaway for my boyfriend and I’s anniversary (you can read about the lovely place we went to

True Solutions Tinted Cream- SPF 30, great base to use out and about for a natural look!
Napoleon Light Diffusing Make Up- My long time favourite foundation, they are discontinuing at the end of the year *pout*
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer- Great concealer for all areas
Mirenesse Beauty Touch Pen- Good if you need a little boost under the eyes
Maybelline Fit Me Powder- LOVE. Such a nice finishing powder without looking cakey
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer- No shimmer, good contour colour
Sleek Powder Blush in Rose Gold- nice pop of colour to the cheeks
Bloom Illuminiser- Travel friendly highlighter in a cream stick form
Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer (not pictured)- Sample size, I really like the way this makes my foundation go on

Urban Decay Primer Potion- Love my travel size!
Maybelline Color Tatoo in Tough as Taupe and Too Cool- Great bases for eyeshadows
Estee Lauder Double Wear Eyeliner- Sample size, long wearing for waterline
Rimmel Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eyedefiner in Aqua Sparkle- Packed in case I want a pop of colour on my lower lash line
Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner- Great liquid liner with a precise felt tip
Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara- Sample size, love how this makes my lashes look
Australis Lash and Brow Gel- I use this to set my brows, looking a bit well loved now!
This palette contains all the main kinds of colours I’d need while I’m away. All the rectangular shadows are depotted from my Too Faced Neutral and Smoky Palettes, into my very well loved Z Palette. The lone stand out is Stila Shore, because who doesn’t love a silvery taupe?!

Rimmel Plumping Lip Gloss- I don’t know if you can even get this now, a plumping lip gloss that leaves a lovely nude shimmer
Bourjois 3D Lipgloss in (24?)- One of my favourite bright lip glosses!
Oralife Peppermint Lip Treatment- Can’t be without this baby of mine, so good at keeping my lips soft!

Savoir Faire Cosmetics Lipstick in Miss You- My nude choice- a peachy pink with the tiniest goldish sheen
Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in 20- My bright choice, an awesome in your face pink. They last a long time on your lips too!
Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait- My day choice, leaving a nice wash of colour when you don’t want a heavy lipstick
So there you have it. I try and pack so that I have all situations covered, from a really basic day look, to being able to go out for dinner or dressing up a little more fancy. And all things considered, I think this leaves me with a good range of options!
What make up do you take when you travel?

you have some of my all time fave products in this lot.
Have you tried the Uuni Palettes? They are small but really sturdy and have a mirror in them, I get scared my Z Palette won’t protect my shadows when I travel.

I haven’t tried them yet, I’m hoping to get a hold of one at IMATS. I haven’t had too many issues with this palette holding up, its been thrown in bag after bag when I travel to my boyfriend’s house, but having that little extra piece of mind would be nice! Is the base of the Unii palettes magnetised too?

Wow you fit so much in there! I absolutely love the look of that Rimmel Kate lipstick, I might have to check it out. I always over pack makeup, I do love your idea of having all different shadows in the palette to save room!

WOW. Gotta say I am very impressed with all you took away for 3 days! And very impressed it all fit in there! Very nicely done indeed and I love reading these types of posts.

I think we have some of the same favourites, gotta say I ADORE the Kate lippies, they have excellent pigmentation and staying power and are not too drying!
